TCL Automation Test Engineer

Experience: 3-8 Years

Must have L2/Ethernet Switching, L3 (TCP/IP) and routing protocol experience.

Must possess coding experience and effective debugging skills in TCL language.

Must have used TCL scripting language for functional/automated testing.

Utilize traffic generation tools such as IXIA or Spirent.

Typically requires a BS degree and 3 years of experience plus training or an MS degree and 3 years of experience plus required.

Prior working experience on any Broadcom SDK testing.

Understand customer requirements & SW design and come up with a robust test plan.

Ability to automate all the test requirements using TCL language and stabilize suite.

Own the complete testing of the given program/module.

Exposure to GIT (configuration management) and JIRA (defect management).

Good eye for defects in SW code.

Proven track-record as a networking product tester in a system environment.

Highly motivated self-starter; Ability to use own initiative, drive decisions and create direction (working independantly).
